Historian, guest curator, and KHM board member Roosevelt Smith will share photos from his recent visit to the Emmett Till Interpretive Center in Sumner, MS. Roosevelt will discuss how the 14 year old's murder in 1955 has impacted Black communities nationwide.

Parking: The Washington Garage on Washington & 4th St is free parking after 5pm.Public Transit: This event is accessible by ferry and bus by Kitsap TransitOn street disability parking is available in limited quantity within 50 feet of the building entrance. There are two 15 minutes loading/unloading parking space at the entrance. The Museum is wheelchair accessible and contains an elevator.
