Larry Swanson's 2023 Long Island Environmental Summit: Finding Solutions for Long Island's Impending Waste Management Crises will be held at Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences on Wednesday, March, 15, 2023, 8:30 am to 1:00pm in 120 Endeavour Hall, on South Campus. The Symposium will be a half-day event and will feature several panels of speakers on topics including the future of solid waste management on Long Island, funding for waste infrastructure, improvement for waste-to-energy, and large scale food waste management. We believe it will be of interest to all who work to provide this essential public service. Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible. It is free to register. Refreshments will be provided.
