In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of Family Archiving. Archivists will teach the basics of preservation, share examples of poorly preserved materials, and demonstrate preservation techniques. Together we will explore the questions: What is an archive? Why does our history matter? Which documents, photos, or artifacts should be prioritized? And, What steps do we need to take to preserve our family's legacy?
