You don’t have to go to New Orleans to find the best Mardi Gras celebration. Savor the flavor of the French Quarter with lakeside dining and lively entertainment on the beautiful shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall. Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor will celebrate from Saturday, Feb. 18 through Tuesday, February 21 with food and drink specials – even Fried Gator Bites and King’s Cake – plus live music and beads on Fat Tuesday! Not to mention Cajun-inspired Chalkboard Specials daily. Enjoy $4.50 Hurricanes and Margaritas all day Saturday and Sunday. Big Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday! Dodie’s will serve up $3 Hurricanes, Margaritas, and Miller Lite and Yuengling pints from 6 to 7 p.m. on Fat Tuesday, February 21. A $5 cover charge will begin at 5 p.m. on Fat Tuesday (no charge for kids under 12). Great music will rock the house with three different bands playing at 12 noon, 3pm, and 6pm on Fat Tuesday.
