It's time to have fun, win prizes, and help promote mentorship in Northern Nevada! Join us at the Rusty Taco for DJ Bingo, hosted by Reno's DJ Trivia. There will be prizes for each round as well as information about how you can volunteer to make a difference in the life of a local youth facing adversity by being a mentor ("Big") with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada. Attendance includes one beer or margarita per person, and one Tres Grande (queso, guac, and salsa) per table. Additional food and drinks are available for purchase. For over 20 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada has created and supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our goal is to empower every young person on a path to graduate high school with a plan to either enroll in secondary or technical education, enlist in the armed forces, or be employed. We ask our volunteers to give about 4-6 hours per month of their time for our Community-Based Mentoring program, OR 3 lunch breaks per month for our Lunch Buddies program. Sparing just a few hours each month to spend with a local young person can have an incredible lifelong impact on their future!
