Author Valerie Braylovskiy will lead participants through her writing process and teach attendees how to process their emotions through the act of writing. In addition, participants will have free time to create their own poems or pieces of writing that they are welcome to share with the group (however there's no pressure to do so!). Snacks and refreshments will be provided! This event is only for young adults aged 14 to 25 in Santa Clara County. Valerie Braylovskiy is a writer whose curiosity for the world is driven by examining and uncovering anomalies in seemingly ordinary experiences, people, places, and ideas. She is a second-year college student and lives in San Francisco, CA. Her work has been featured in places including Agave Review, The Helix Magazine, and Cathexis Northwest Press.
