This "Full Prep" Steak & BBQ Ribs class will cover everything you need to know to cook award winning Steaks and Ribs from two of the nations top pitmasters. Class topics will include: (1)Grilling and Smoking Methods (2)Fire Management (3)Wood, Pellet, and Charcoal basics (4)Winning Flavor Profiles (5)Balancing & Layering Flavors (6)Full Steak & Rib preparation multiple ways (7)Full Cooking Demonstration & Tasting all meats
There will be snacks and refreshments served throughout the class. Class starts at 1pm and will run until 5pm (est). The class is presented by Mixon Products and hosted by Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, Ga.
Instructors: John Lindsey is a Nationally Ranked Steak Champion, Multi Time BBQ & Steak Grand Champion, sought after BBQ/Grilling instructor, and a regular on the BBQ & Grilling TV series BAMA Q TV.
Michael Mixon is part of the Jacks Old South World Championship BBQ Team. He is a 2 -time World Champion BBQ cook and has appeared in dozens of TV shows on Food Network, Destination America, and around the world.
