We are very blessed to welcome Grace Townsend-Goreth as the featured speaker for this KC Pastors and Church Mission Leaders Luncheon at Graceway Church in Kansas City, MO. Grace is the daughter of Cameron Townsend, the founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Grace will be sharing stories about life with “Daddy,” as she affectionately calls him, and his passion for Bible translation which she shares as well. Grace will also speak about her leadership with JAARS, the Jungle Aviation and Radio Service organization her father started to serve missionaries on the field. She will also be sharing about her partnership with Faith Comes by Hearing, the audio translation ministry out of Albuquerque, NM.  Our great friend, Joey Knight, will be representing Faith Comes by Hearing at the event. The Sending Project is facilitating this event to encourage churches of any size in the KC metro area to consider collaborating to financially support, with any amount, oral language projects for those people groups that do not have the Word of God in their own heart languages. Bible translation organizations have set the goal of 2033 for all the people groups without the Scriptures to have the Gospel in their own heart languages. We are believing God to have hundreds of churches in KC working together to make that Gospel goal a reality through Faith Comes by Hearing. This is a FREE event.
