Typically works an 8/hour day during normal daytime business hours 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, five days per week. Receive stock items, administer, maintain and compile records and reports of inventory items. Clerk also maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse and stores items in an orderly and accessible manner. Cleans and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting, lubricating, repairing or assembling tools and equipment as necessary. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. Routinely handle objects weighing up to 25 lbs and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Also assist in the general maintenance and cleanup of the facility including but not limited to operating tools and equipment.

• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment, using handtools, spray gun, or pressurized spray can.
• May deliver tools or equipment to workers, manually or using handtruck.
