A panel of teens will discuss their experiences creating a non-traditional high school education. Their stories show that teens can take greater control of their learning by leaving traditional school and that every path, including college or career, is still open to them. Each panelist will tell their story, followed by Q&A. Free and open to the public. Teens welcome. 215-315-0707. (Our event is being held at Middletown Friends Meeting house prior to their Sunday Service at 11am. All are welcome to stay for the service.) About Us The Bucks Learning Cooperative is a self-directed education center for area teenagers who want to leave traditional school and take charge of their education. We offer classes, workshops, field trips, mentoring, independent study and more! BLC provides a warm, welcoming, inclusive space and combines the most valuable parts of school with personalized attention. Most of all, BLC gives kids and their families the freedom to choose how they learn. We're always looking for ways to engage with the larger community, as well as volunteers who are interested in sharing their wisdom and knowledge with young people.
