The 68-year-old now creates three to four drawings a week, bringing cheer to her neighbors amid dark times. Mitchell also takes request for custom projects for a small fee according to the report, donating the proceeds to the Second Harvest Food Bank. One #RedwoodCity woman has turned her whimsical pursuit of chalk art into a side career "to cheer people up" during the #COVID_19 pandemic. https://t.co/mgXWUmQJEx— Palo Alto Weekly (@paloaltoweekly) January 9, 2021 "I got my grandson's chalk and I came out front and I started drawing a hopscotch," Mitchell told the television station.
