Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control is currently looking to hire a self motivated individual that is able to pick up dead animals including deer from roadsides and private properties. You would also be assisting wildlife control technicians perform various damage repairs. Daily Task include but are not limited to: This position does require some heavy lifting or dragging. Driving several hours each day (Overall this is an easy job because the majority of the time is just driving) Assisting our damage repair technicians with a wide variety of task including wildlife and rodent control, eviction, exclusion, trapping, cleanup, and repair work. On some jobs you will be assisting technicians with moving ladders of various lengths. Some digging during warmer months. Picking up supplies and materials from warehouse. What comes with this position: Seven paid holidays per year Uniforms to include T-shirts, hoodies, jacket, hats, pants Paid vacation time. You would receive 5 vacation days per year after completing your first consecutive year of employment with our company. You would receive 10 vacation days per year after completing your first 5 consecutive years of employment with our company. Above average pay. This position starts at $20 per hour. After working your first 60 days you would receive an evaluation. If you have come to work every day on time and have demonstrated that you are drama free team player and a safe worker then you would receive a pay increase of $2.50 per hour. After working your first 120 days you would receive another evolution. If you have again demonstrated that you are a drama free team player who comes to work on time each day and works safely then you would receive another $2.50 pay increase per hour. If you are a constant complainer who create unnecessary drama or you are chronically late for work or work in an unsafe manor than you will not receive a pay increase. During cold months the smell of the animal carcasses is not bad and the appearance of the carcasses can be tolerated by most people. During warmer months the smell can be overwhelming for some people who have a low tolerance level and the carcasses are typically covered in fly larva. If you are unable to tolerate dead animal odors and if you are unable to tolerate the sight of dead animal or fly larva on a dead animal then this is not the job for you. To apply email your resume.
