- Guitarist showed up with newly purchased Grersch jazz (f holes) guitar, who supposed to audition for my Jazz Trio, and in the middle of audition he told me that he never played jazz and started playing guitar two weeks ago. - Female singer auditioned for my Soul/Funk Rock Project, after singing few of my tunes she turned to me saying "now listen to my songs...", I stopped her saying that my ad clearly stated that we don't audition sogwriters, and that she basically wasted her and my time by coming to my rehearsal room. Instead of saying that she's sorry, she dumped an ocean of cursing on me, didn't left my room for like 20 minutes, saying things about me and my music that may damage badly if you are a weak and unsure individual - Male drummer auditioned for my Indie Rock project, bringing ckracked snake, split in the middle ride and drum sticks that he probably picked up at the restroom, dumped by another drummer (empire rehearsal studios). I can post more, but what's the point...I think picture is pretty clear and shows how damaged and surreal this would of huge ego/no brain wannabes is...sad! Yes, I always hold auditions, sometimes pretty good ones, that's why there's always there's a hope that some musicians on this board are decent and serious and not hanging here to waste their and my time, and that's why: - I always ask questions regarding their gear - I always check their online links to see what kind of level of persformance I'll be dealing with - I always ask their Status and Location (just to make sure that they ar from NY and born and raised Here) That's all for now.
