Experienced blues guitarist looking for people to put together a blues/blues rock band. I'm a disciple of Hendrix and SRV who learned the blues from BB King. I'd like to find some funky players and make some great music from the classics and create some new music as well. What I'm looking for: A bass player that plays more then just root notes and can explore melodies and open up the chord structure, a drummer that is brutally solid on time and always being on the 1, second guitarist or a key player that can really expand the middle and provide tasty melody elements. I can sing the blues well enough but I'd rather have a real voice that makes me feel the lyrics and can improv easily. Yeah, that sounds like a lot but wouldn't you want super talented guys playing with you?
