N Winthrop Ave near W Hollywood Ave, Chicago IL

Brown / tortoiseshell (tortie) cat found last Saturday in Edgewater (Winthrop Ave between Ardmore and Hollywood). She was stuck on a sunken patio with a slight limp, we think she jumped down, hurt her leg and couldn't get back out. We've taken her in for now – she's a total sweetheart. We brought her to the vet, got her some pain medication for her leg. She has a microchip but the vet has been unable to contact the registered owner.
