What's going on people. My brother and I are starting a project and have been auditioning bass players and guitar players but haven’t found the right fit yet. We’ve both played the Texas scene with various groups for many years (Me especially “Drums”, been gigging out across country for 20 years. Im 36 and he's 32.) He’s a killer bass player and guitar player but we prefer to have a great bassist in a trio so he can stay on guitar. This is for a player who is confident in their abilities and enjoys the type of music we play. An example of how rehearsal's will go- I'll give you roughly 10 songs to come prepared to play at rehearsal and we expect them to be ready. We can obviously tweak and tighten things up as we run through them but this will not be a time to "learn" the song. If this matches your own expectations then reach out. We have a playlist on Spotify that I can send out through email once contacted. We play a lot of reggae so the bass is essential. The setlist consists of songs from David Bowie, Bob Marley, Gary Clark Jr, Black Keys, White Stripes, Black Sabbath, The Cure, Santana, ZZ Top, Slightly Stoopid, Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Leon Bridges and more…Let me know if this interests you and if you have any videos you could send with your playing style. Being able to add harmonies is a welcome plus. Looking to reach out to local venues early Spring once we find right fit. With all that being said, you got to be a great person. You know who you are. It's going to be a fun time. Enjoy the day people.
