Maintenance Person/Handyman for Repairs

We are a real estate company with over 140 rental properties. We need someone who is skilled at all types of repairs for our work orders on these units. We sub out any electrical or plumbing that takes either a permit or is extensive. The list of items we need someone to effectuate is included below but not limited to: ---lock changes ---garbage disposal install ---drain clogs ---cabinet repairs ---light/fan installation ---painting of unit ---crown install/repair ---baseboard install/repair ---faucet repair/install ---window screen repair/install ---cabinet installation ---dishwasher installation ---drywall repair ---leaky this and that ---water heater line repair/replace ---unit exit inspections Much more. So, you get the idea. Basically everything that could break or need repairs within an apartment or house rental will need to be addressed. We have a licensed electrician to do all major electrical work as well as a plumber to do all major plumbing issues. Small electrical and plumbing would be done in house. ----outlet repair/replacements etc ---faucet-tub spout- sprayer repair/replacements etc We are located in Clearwater and generally start the day at 10am and work until 5 or 6, five days per week. All of our units are in Pinellas County. Rarely, but sometimes emergencies occur, and of course they happen at night or on weekends!! We are looking for a new team member and someone we can all work with. We are an office of 6 people so we really want and need someone who can fit in but work independently. We get calls from our tenants and then work orders are printed. Once created we set up appointments with the tenants for repairs. So this person would need to deal with tenants in their places at times if said tenant didn't want us making repairs when they weren't home. So there is a level of inter personal skill required. As for pay, we will start with an hourly rate that is determined after we meet and based on skill level but likely within a range of $20-35 dollars per hour. More if needed. If hired, we will revisit pay after 90 days. We have most tools for repairs, but if you wanted to use your own set that would be fine. Again, this position requires the ability for you to be independant. You may need to get materials from a store and we expect that to be part of the job. We are willing to talk to anyone qualified and adjust the work schedule for the right person. Again, the quality of the person is our primary concern as none of the work orders require high level skills unless we are doing a complete renovation of a unit.
