Blondie; Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks (w/ or w/out Tom Petty); Go-Go's; Grace Slick; Heart; Joan Jett; Journey; Linda Ronstadt; Melissa Etheridge; Meredith Brooks; Pat Benatar; Pink; Pretenders; Scandal; 10,000 Maniacs (cover of Because the Night)... also: Janis Joplin, Divinyls, Til Tuesday... plus, many mainstream bands from the 60s/70s/80s & 90s + All classic rock with room for your ideas too... open to sharing the mic with a male vox/bass player. Rehearsal slated to be in Astoria, OR a basement studio in Great Neck (N.Y.) -TBD; 1 night a week (Tuesday OR Wednesday), 2 - 2.5 hours. Serious band - (plan is to gig) - but low pressure - no screaming matches or condescending attitudes, no divas, no bullies. We are adults over 40 & 50 - we can discuss; cooperate, & compromise.
