Description

This is a sweet learning experience for parent and child together (ages 5-11). You'll learn how to give and receive massages to support bonding, bedtime routines, and co-regulation. Great especially for children who crave lots of touch; those who could practice using their hands for helping others; and those who could use new tools for calming their bodies. Your workshop teacher for the day, Marissa, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Massage In Schools facilitator, and has been teaching positive touch for kids since 2017. Marissa is up-to-date on vaccinations and encourages use of general precautions (i.e., handwashing, hand sanitizer, vaccinations, space between families, face masks) to keep us all safe and healthy.
