Celebrate Black History Month at the Abyssinian Meeting House with Portland by the Foot walking tours! Get a tour of the building from historical tour guide Dugan Murphy and Deborah Khadraoui of the Committee to Restore the Abyssinian. Hear live music by award-winning roots musician Samuel James. See America's 3rd-oldest standing Black church at this rare open house event. Visit between 12:00 and 2:00 on Saturday, February 4 or Sunday, February 5. Parking is available on the street. Event is free, but donations toward the restoration are welcomed. Masks are required when inside.
