Join us for Celebrate Portsmouth on Thursday, March 09, 6 p.m., at the Shawnee State University's Ballroom. We’re excited for an evening of friends and neighbors, celebrating downtown success over drinks and an update from Main Street staff and board members. This is a big year! 10 years of welcoming you for the event! In honor of that, this is going to be a special dinner, where we release information about the program for the first time pertaining to our future! Dinner will be served at 6:45 and will feature hors d'oeuvres, an Italian-style buffet and cake from Union Mills! The musical talents of Steve Free will grace visitors, as he plays his guitar and sings his classic tunes we've grown to love over a storied career. Throughout the evening, guests are invited to browse the silent auction and bid on items. This event is one of Main Street’s only fundraisers, and goes a long way in ensuring the continuation of our programming, events, grants and so on. This event ensures affordable events, programming, beautification, and future development downtown. Admission is $50. Businesses are also welcome to purchase a special table sponsorship for $500. Tickets are at the Scioto County Welcome Center. We encourage tickets ahead of time, because door tickets are very limited. Tickets can be picked up at the Welcome Center, 342 Second Street.
