Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR), is an award-winning, evidenced based, early-intervention approach to suicide prevention. This educational program is designed to teach lay and "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. In this training we cover the background of QPR, local statistics, how to "ask the question", as well as local behavioral health resources. There will also be an opportunity for Q and A. This event is open to any member of the public 18-years-old and up. Suicide prevention is for everyone. We can all learn to save lives through this training. Data proves that this training works and can make a difference in someone's life. This training is made possible by All Points North Lodge.
