About this event Clay Rose is a Colorado singer-songwriter and frontman for the Gasoline Lollipops. Clay's authentic, soulful songwriting and lyrics make him a "must-see" on the Colorado music scene. We are honored to host Clay for a series of intimate "listening room" experiences at the Roots Music Project warehouse. "We're going to talk about the songwriting craft, life influences, heartbreak, and all of the experiences that fuel good songwriting", Clay explains to a recent audience. On February 16th 2023, Clay will be joined by Ben Hanna. Ben Hanna’s lyrics are often that voice in your head that you don't speak of. his “post-post rock” style is described as a blend of folk-inspired modern storytelling with punk-like simplicity and energy. He writes about the human condition in its many forms from a place of humor and brutal honesty. Even people who don’t care for his sound regret to admit they like a few of his songs. FREE EVENT!
