The State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Is Currently Seeking Participants For The Workforce 55+ Senior Community Service Training Program (SCSEP) The Workforce 55+ program is a Federally Funded Program designed to help mature workers return to the workforce through an "Earn While You Learn" module. The program partners with community based Non-Profit Organizations and Government Agencies to provide participants with training to update their skills. Participants will receive a paid stipend for a maximum of 20 hours per week (based on the current minimum wage), counselling, assessments, job training as well as assistance with permanent job placement. To qualify you have to be aged 55 or older, currently unemployed, and ready to return to work.
