Description

Learn about Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory loss in this community-focused listening session. Review the services of the Alzheimer’s Association®, hear what work is already being done, and share your thoughts on how we can expand the reach of local programs and resources to underserved populations in Wichita Falls. Join us, bring a friend, and share thoughts about how the Alzheimer’s Association can help. The Association hosts community forums to listen to the experiences of a community related to the cause and identify needs, gaps in resources and opportunities to expand our reach. These forums help the Association build trust and empower communities, establish a network of supporters, leverage volunteer resources, and build and strengthen community alliances. After the forum, the Association builds a community plan while working alongside community partners and volunteers to implement local programs for helping families to live well with Alzheimer's and other dementia.
