Description

Thursday, February 23, at THE TORRANCE MARRIOTT, from 9AM to 1PM. This will be a comprehensive gathering of churches and organizations who serve at-risk families and vulnerable children in the South Bay area. No one organization can tackle the child welfare crisis alone. We need to work together collaboratively to prevent, intervene, and restore families who have entered the system. Is it possible to have zero failed placements and zero children aging out of the system without a family to support them into adulthood? This is a new approach that is working. You will: Hear Real Time stats from DCFS on Vulnerable Children in South BayLearn Best Practices in Mobilizing and Training Church Members. Explore the Expo with Organizations Serving Children Get Equipped to Heal Families from the Impact of TraumaEat a Free LunchOur vision for this gathering is to pray and unite leaders with DCFS to achieve measurable results for South Bay.
