Preserving Our Past for the FutureThe Big 4 Legacy Group, Incorporated is a non-profit Civic organization. Our mission is to chronicle the history of four historically black high schools (Anderson, Atkins, Carver, and Paisley)and their communities, whose individual legacies span five (5) decades. Lifelong learning, self-sufficiency, and self-respect are the core principles that constitute what the Big 4 Legacy Group seeks to uphold.These are the core principles that define our organizational vision. The Big 4 Legacy Group is committed to promoting the development of disadvantaged and underserved students and their communities across Forsyth County. We stands on the shoulders of the founders of the Big 4 and formed members for their vision. We are honored to have the opportunity to add our voice to the chorus of those who came before us. Our history is a legacy that reminds us who we were, who we are, and what we can be.Proceeds from this event will go to the establishment of the Big 4 Memorial Pavilion, a lasting tribute to the legacy of four historically Black high schools- Anderson, Atkins, Carver, and Paisley.
