Lino printmaking is a method of relief printing , which involves carving and drawing into a soft linoleum block, rolling a thin layer of ink over it, and pressing paper on top to transfer the image. Aimee will go over how to use various carving tools and how to carve linoleum. You will then create several prints with your carved design . Please come with a simple design in mind . We will have a few ideas to help you along too Students will be provided with a kit that includes: 4x6 linoleum blockpaperchoice of colored inkAge 18 and up welcome
