Learn more about caring for ferns, specifically Staghorns, and about Easy to Grow Orchids!Lynn Beveridge has been a Master Gardener for over 11 years. She loves to garden and has been gardening most of her life, as her parents were avid gardeners and taught her at an early age. Lynn grew up in San Diego where you can garden year-round. She graduated from Grossmont High School and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University at Northridge. Lynn is married and when she is not travelling, she resides in Tierrasanta. Lynn has four big Staghorn ferns, and has had two of them for over 40 years. She will provide us with hand-outs on how to care for them, and will talk about how to make new plants from the existing Staghorn plant. She will also talk about orchids that are easy to grow in San Diego; Cymbidium and Epidendrum Radican orchids (also called fire-star orchid, rainbow orchid or poor man's orchid). Lynn will be bringing clippings to share with us!
