Description

Half german shepherd half collie/ 3 years old at the end of March/ spayed and vaccinated. Her name is Hazel and she is a loyal, protective guard dog. Unfortunately, life in the suburbs have been difficult for her. She sees everyone outside then fence as a threat and tends to get worked up when people come to the door. She is loving and gentle with those she knows and lives with including kids but she is very apprehensive around strangers. We have had a couple close calls with neighbors reaching over the fence and we are worried it's only a matter of time before she bites. She should be In a country home with few neighbors and plenty of bunnies to chase. She has a high prey drive, which is great if you were to train her to be a hunting dog, but not do much in the suburbs where there's the risk she could catch a small pet. It's so tough to let go and say goodbye to her but we feel this is the best for her and for us. Small rehoming/ adoption fee. Please text for details. Thanks for looking.
