Geovert is looking for a highly motivated crew for a Rockfall mitigation construction project in the Denver/Golden area. Experience working heavy equipment, general construction, trail building, wild-land firefighting, climbing, rigging, and Rope access skills are a plus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • General labor- moving and carrying heavy loads on steep loose ground, excavation • Carrying and moving equipment in steep mountain terrain, mixing cement grout, working around pneumatic rock drills Skills and experience: • Minimum two (2) years of construction experience with a strong focus on safety • Experience working in remote mountain environments • Good communication and teamwork This is an extremely physically demanding project at high altitudes in all weather conditions. If you are not physically fit, you will not like this job. Please don’t plan on “getting in shape” on the job, you will not be able to keep up with the rest of the team.
