LGBTQ+ Concert Band seeking experienced woodwind & percussion players

The Minnesota Freedom Band, a founding member of the Pride Bands Alliance, seeks experienced woodwind and percussion players for our March 19th concert band performance at University Baptist Church. We are about halfway through rehearsals and have a full brass section but are in need of: Oboe - Bassoon - Clarinet, Alto Clarinet - Percussion - Mallet Percussion The concert program includes Chorale & Shaker Dance, Three Little Pieces for Brass Band (arr. Paynter), Pirates of the Caribbean, Trombone Rag, El Capitan, and more! The woodwind section is also performing Sheep May Safely Graze (J.S. Bach). Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7pm at South High School in Minneapolis (parking and entry at 32nd & 21st). We love musicians of all levels! If learning a medium-difficult concert on short notice isn't for you, please join us for our shorter summer program at Music in the Parks (date TBD by the Minneapolis Parks Board). Rehearsals will begin in April.
