Eastern Drayage is currently one of the leading container logistics trucking companies. Our fleet of over 120 trucks - specializes in transporting containers (drayage) in and out of Ports. We are currently in the process of expanding our Baltimore operation to service our current and expanding client base. Job Responsibilities: Operating Heavy Duty Forklift Loading and unloading containers and flatbeds Maintaining materials in good order and condition during handling, shipping, receiving and storage. Maintain organization within the yard. Performing yard inventory checks, cross referencing details in computer system Coordinating with truck drivers when picking up and delivering, providing manifests, inputting details into computer system Performing any other duties or tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Terminal manager. Required Qualifications: Heavy Duty Forklift (At least 15,000 Lb lift capability) Experience Ability to work outdoors in all elements. Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in working with limited supervision and able to make independent decisions. Comfortable using a computer for inventory and delivery manifests.
