Rock Drummer Looking for Band

Hey Chicago bands. I'm a drummer. I've been playing since I was 15 or so, so about 23 years? Jesus I'm old. My current project has been losing steam for a while now and I'd like to get back into playing regularly. About me: late 30s, full time wfh job, pretty flexible schedule played in bands since I was 15, spread out across the "rock" spectrum, but usually a bit heavier and groovier these days. Post rock/kraut rock/psych rock. If it doesn't have a bit of an edge, not interested. I've played tiny hole-in-the-wall clubs like Burlington. I've played House of Blues. I can play to a click/backing tracks, or not. I really like to be a part of the song writing process, but I'm not great at writing the song myself. I'm not overly technical, but well above proficient. I am NOT interested in covers. About your band: You're established. You've been playing for years (not necessarily the band, but the musicians). You have all your own gear and write your own material. You have recordings that are not from a phone. You want to practice once a week and play out in the city maybe once a month tops (no one likes over saturation and you don't have that many fans anyway). You're not looking to "make it" but you take it seriously. You're all above competent at your instrument. Got a project that needs a drummer and fits the above? Hit me up.
