We were told that he’s somewhere around 8 years old, that he’s fixed, that he’s an escape artist, and that he is a descendant of some famous sled dog named Grandpa Jack (I have no idea). He sheds a ton, howls/talks constantly if he’s alone, and would just love to eat our cat as dessert- he already enjoyed one of our chickens thoroughly. He marks everything. Everything. He sticks around if people are there, but if he’s left alone at all, he’s gone. We have 3 other dogs, and he gets along with all of them, but he is food aggressive so we feed him separately. Our reason for rehoming him is that he is too exuberant in his playing with the children— as in, he jumps and mouths them and won’t stop when they tell him. He’s not aggressive, but he’s a big dog and it’s not worth one of our children getting hurt. He hasn’t had much training at all; he knew next to no commands and has been passed around quite a bit.
