Meet Drew P. (DROOPY) He's about 1 year old and LOVES his ball, bone, and food. Droopy is crate trained - he'll come just from hearing you open the crate door. He's house trained and quiet. Droopy loves to be outside in our fenced in yard and needs to be able to play fetch and/or walk about 2x a day. He's a chill guy indoors when he gets his energy out. He'll also be content chewing his bone for what seems like hours. He does great with our daughters (14yrs). He's extremely driven by treats and his ball and is very trainable with consistency. He knows to sit and stay when it's time to eat and understands exactly what to do if you say "get your toy" or "get your bone". We adopted Droopy from the Raleigh shelter in October. We don't know his exact breed but were told he's probably a lab/hound mix. Our other dog is 8 and we haven't had a 2nd dog before. Our older guy just isn't taking to having another friend around and we're having to crate Droopy more than he deserves. We are trying to avoid taking him back to the shelter if we can.
