November 18, 2020: Welcome Neighbor will be returning to our welcome visit program after 9 months of “lockdown, and we are looking for two friendly greeters when we begin again (next two months), with two openings in · West Chester and surrounding community, and· Southern Chester County including Oxford,Landenberg, West Grove and nearby! If you are: - Seeking excellent part-time income - Love flexibility and autonomy and meeting new people - Proud of and grounded in your community - Have 5-7 hours a week (some of it on weekends on your schedule) - A stay-at-home mom, empty nester wanting income . . .then our Visiting Representative opportunity may be just right for you! Income is about $300-$500 a month, working on your own schedule What we do: We welcome new residents and bring our community outreach, helpful connections and civic resources. Now, adapting to pandemic times with our new phone app, “Welcome Neighbor,” we’re able to give our valuable “no strings” gift certificates and gifts for new homeowners (and now others too) on behalf of local businesses we’ve found and vetted. We are social distancing, greeting at the door masked and occasionally delivering with phone conversations for the duration of the pandemic.
