Explore the Botanic Garden in a new light... moonlight, that is! Bring the whole family and join us for an exclusive chance to learn the art and science of snowshoeing while enjoying a guided candlelight tour of the trees, shrubs, and persistent foliage that grace the Garden throughout the winter months.
Receive a snowshoe orientation and get geared up with experts from the Grand Traverse Conservation District as they share exciting things to look for while you walk through the fairy forest and trails. Light refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers will be on hand to help guide you through the majesty of the Garden as you wander through its luminary-lit paths. Our Executive Director, Matthew Ross, will also be stationed in the Garden to share info about winter plant identification.
Snowshoes will be provided to use for the event or participants are invited to bring their own. This event is family-friendly and appropriate for children ages 6+. Children's tickets can be purchased as add-ons to purchased adult tickets.
