Come learn more about being a physical/occupational therapist and physical/occupational therapist assistant at OrthoIllinois. This program will provide an overview of what physical/occupational therapists and physical/occupational therapist assistants do, how much $ they make, what the requirements are to get into PT or PTA school, what courses you should take prior to applying, and other requirements needed for admission. Participants will be exposed to the physical therapy clinic and various techniques and tools utilized daily during physical/occupational therapy treatments. The goal is to spark interest and provide adequate information for those students interested in physical/occupational therapy or physical/occupational therapy assistant as a career. Snacks ONLY will be provided.
