Description
We get it parents - you’re exhausted. It's that time of year where everyone is over "it". The constant below zero temperatures, the lack of sunshine and time outside, the monotony of the school year. It also seems to be the time of year when our kids struggle a little extra. It’s constant meltdowns, tantrums, battles over homework, impossible bed times, frequent calls and emails from the teacher, and endless behavioral and emotional regulation challenges. You’ve checked genetics. You've removed gluten and dairy and artificial dyes. You've tried reward charts, new schedules, and then discipline and punishment. You've been to every specialist, tried all of the medications, IEP modifications, and therapies and you're still at a loss. You just want the best for your child but with the mounting stress of everything going on in this world, you don't really know where to turn from here. You’ve been encouraged and seen some progress, and right when you take a breath and feel like things are getting better, you take 2 steps back and you're right back in the thick of it all. It might be time to look at things through a different lens. At this Private ADHD, Anxiety and Sensory Workshop for Parents, Dr. Sadey and Dr. Molly will dive deep into the science, the WHY behind what is going on, and some action steps for you to move forward with confidence and hope for your child's success. What will be covered: - The reasons why our children are struggling now more than ever. From both the outside and the inside, we will help you put together the information you need to know why your child is struggling. - We'll give you step by step help that you can use to start making a difference for your child IMMEDIATELY. Together we help you learn how to MINIMIZE the tough days and MAXIMIZE the good days for your child at home and school. - The proof is in the parents...who have been where you are. We'll share with you stories of kids who no longer struggle with the symptoms of sleepless nights, meltdowns and tantrums, hard mornings, days filled with anxiety, struggles in school and lack of focus. Who should attend? - Parents who are worried about their child's growth, development, mood, focus, sleep, eating, overall wellness and performance at home and school. - Parents who have children who have received a diagnosis, such as ASD, ADHD, SPD. - Family members who help care for children who are struggling. - Professionals who serve children ages 0-18 years. We hope you join us for a night of hope, help, and answers! We'll have appetizers and drinks available for all attendees. See you there!
