Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt- and freshwater. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with Session 2 beginning January 25 and ending March 22, 2023. Each night we are offering a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both. WEEK 2 Beginner Bird of Prey. The Bird of Prey uses common ingredients to create a highly effective caddis pupa and emerger. It can be tied in natural (hare’s ear) and olive or maybe even orange in the fall. Fish it as a nymph or swing it to represent an emerging insect, and you’ll likely get a hit.
