Motor Grader Heavy Equipment Operator - Travel Position

Hodge Western Corp. is a growing construction company in the Central Oregon area specializing in large volume, high production rock sawing and utility trenching. Large utility scale solar, water lines, sewer mains and other misc. excavations utilizing specialized excavation and backfill equipment are the focal point of our operation. We are seeking to fill positions within the company that will be a part of our continued success. Much of this work is throughout the Western United States so travel is a component. POSITION:Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator Must be proficient in the operation of a motor grader with other heavy equipment experience as well. Knowledge in GPS machine control is preferredGood communication skills and punctuality is a must Possess strong organizational skills and the motivation to operate in a clean professional manner.Responsibilities  Daily start-up procedures of equipment Daily maintenance of equipment including greasing, cleaning of filters, fueling and cleaning of cab  Communicate any damage or maintenance needs to supervisor  Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports. Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope  Conduct self that represents the company in a safe and professional manner  Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Compensation: $35+/- per hour DOE, Daily per diem and paid housing.  This is a traveling position.  Current project is near Goodyear, AZ.  Upcoming projects in OH and IL.Benefits:Paid Sick and Vacation TimeHealth, Dental, Vision, Retirement, LifeEmployer Matching Simple IRA Retirement Plan  About Us  Hodge Western Corp.
