Meet new faces and make important contacts as you participate in a speed networking event that is organized to allow professionals to meet and network in a short period of time. Similar to "speed-dating", participants will have a series of short one-on-one conversations with each other, making professional connections and building their networks. What to expect: During this event, participants will sit across from one another at a table and have a few minutes to talk about their professional backgrounds and interests before the bell rings and they move on to the next person. This allows attendees to meet a large number of people in a short amount of time and can be an effective way to make new connections and expand one's professional network. Participants will deliver their 60 second introductions to each other, answer 1-2 networking questions, as well as pass out cards and flyers during each round. Each round will last between 8-10 mins. We will have one seat per industry. No duplicates. There is no better way to reach so many people over your lunch break! A boxed lunch will be provided at the end of the event. You are also welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the event. We will start on time, please plan to arrive promptly (beginning at 11:30am) and be seated when the program begins promptly at 11:45am. For maximum benefit of all participants, we strongly encourage everyone to stay for the duration of the event and not leave before the end.
