Imbolc Blessing - Brigid's Cross Prayerful Craft Workshop

In this two hour workshop, we'll first settle in to the beautiful space above Pono Boutique with some seasonal teas and a brief somatic meditation to more fully arrive into our bodies. After an overview discussion on the Celtic holiday of Imbolc and the mythic essence of Brigid, known as a Goddess to some and a Saint to others, we will gather our materials and ready our space for the craft. Using energetically charged rush grass and holy water from Ireland along with local materials, I'll provide hands on instruction for weaving a traditional Brigid's cross to hang in our homes as protection for the coming year. There will be the possibility to weave multiple crosses and/or take some materials to create with at home. About Song of Sophia - we're a sisterhood of womb wise Sophianic midwives, a living lineage held by divine light and taught through relationship with plants. Energetic exchange for the workshop is suggested $10 - $20.
