THE MOVE FORWARDLET'S TALK EQUITY… Event Date/s: Friday, February 24, 2023 Time/s: 11am - 1:30pm Location: Carriage House, Jeffersonville IN Host/Speakers: Miguel Hampton, MSM with F5 Enterprises, LLC and Missy Smith, with New Hope Services, Inc Description: A series of open community discussions and dialogue: The February event is an introduction to the yearlong series. We will be introducing the community to the language and definitions of equity, and explore ways to move from conversation into action. This series will serve community leaders, elected officials, business owners, educators, and the general public as it relates to building community. The outcome of this series is building a community that is accessible and equitable. We will bring examples of leaders that are doing this work in surrounding areas to help Southern Indiana build this infrastructure for ourselves.
