Learn from clinicians, professionals and veterans as they teach about veteran culture, post traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and working with injured veterans. You will go home with a detailed manual for working successfully with this population and the course is designed to be hands-on and interactive.  A complete veteran panel will provide direct training on Saturday. This is a required workshop for working with the Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies program, you will learn interview techniques, service animal intricacies with exercise, adaptations, and gain understanding of proof of military service. CEUs/CEEs are included for most professional certifications. Breakfast snacks and lunch are included both days.  Parking is free. You MUST attend both days. Dress comfortably, interactive workshop and activities are hands on, experiential. Six chapter manual provided for future reference to materials learned.
