Join the Yuba County Library as we celebrate African American/Black History Month and create paper quilts inspired by the African American female artists and quilters of Gee Bend, Alabama. Gee Bend has a long history of quilting but in the 1960s local women came together to found the Freedom Quilting Bee, a cooperative which sold their designs throughout the United States. This program is open to adults and kids 6+
