Special guest, Victoria Eady Butler, the first African-American female Master Blender in U.S. history & the most awarded Master Blender, will narrate the story of Nearest Green, her great-great grandfather and first African American Master Distiller on record. Your evening begins with complimentary downtown parking as you are serenaded by BillyRay's Smooth Jazz as you walk into Sojourn Trading Co. to enjoy cocktails and curated dishes. After the cocktail reception, you will be transported to the San Antonio River Walk to board SAAACAM's (San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum) Black History River Walk Barge Tour. Uncle Nearest cocktails by Perfect Pour Bartending LLC and swag bags will be handed out during the barge tour. ***Please note: You must bring your own Uncle Nearest whiskey bottles with you to the event in a bag. We will set them aside during the cocktail reception. We cannot have the whiskey bottles out of the bag at Sojourn Co. Victoria will be available to sign your OWN Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey bottles during the River barge tour ONLY. Whiskey bottles will not be available for purchase during the event.
