Come to Valentine's Speed Dating to meet other queer singles in the SLO area! This event was created to give queer women and non-binary folks a space to meet, connect, and build community. Valentine's Speed Dating is designed specifically for women and nonbinary folks under 30. This helps to maximize the chances of speed dates turning into real matches. HOW IT WORKSBefore the event:Register here to save your space and start getting excited! Be sure to share the link with any of your queer friends in the SLO area. At the event:Arrive at Bliss Cafe on Valentine's Day and you'll be greeted by volunteers with a name tag and some more quick questions to fill outEnjoy music and light refreshments while you mingle with other queer women and nonbinary folksTake a seat at a table once instructed and enjoy a quick date (6-8 min) with the person seated across from you. This is the fun part!! Use the question cards provided to get your conversation going, get curious about the person sitting across from you, and see if you connect. This is a super safe space with low-stakes. Relax and have fun!Fill out 3 quick post-date questions and get ready for another queer cutie to sit across from you next. After the event:Turn in your post-date question form to event organizers and await your matches! Contact info for your matches will be shared via email 1-2 days after the event.
