What is a Dash Away? Dash Away Weekends are unlike any other women’s retreat you’ve ever experienced. They are unique, intimate weekends that are focused on true, interactive connection with Jesus, having loads of fun with others, and plenty of space to recharge and refresh. It is not a conference. In fact, the only agenda is to help you encounter Jesus and experience healing and freedom in your life while also building healthy connections with others. You will experience a restful time in God's presence, enjoy intimate times of worship, and receive practical tools to help you as you move forward in your relationship with Jesus. What can I Expect? The weekend is very casual and loosely structured. Comfortable clothes are appropriate. No make up required. And you can also leave your cute, but uncomfortable shoes at home. Our schedule is relaxed - like a retreat, not a conference! On Saturday afternoon, there will be time for you to rest and refuel, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Amazing, transforming, refreshing, etc… It was beyond my expectations.” FAQs What does the registration fee include? Your registration covers the cost of the retreat plus your lodging and meals. You will get two (2) nights and 5 meals. Can I make payments? Yes!! You can! New this year! When you go to check out, click on "Learn More" by the PayPal option. You can pay monthly, or scroll to the bottom of the pop up PayPal window and click on "See other ways to pay over time." You can choose 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks, or you can pay monthly with interest. Are there scholarships available? We hope so, but it depends on scholarship funds coming in. We can't make any guarantees. We currently have a scholarship fund open and will be able to offer them if/when available. Scholarships can be used toward retreat costs only, not for lodging and meals. Unless there are extreme circumstances, each participant will be responsible to pay for her own lodging and meal package ($250). **If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us. Lodging will be hotel style with private bath in The Tallac Center, located right on the lake. Linens are provided. Lodging is based on double occupancy, however, there are a few rooms available for single occupancy if needed. Click here to learn more. Can I choose a roommate? Certainly! Each room will have 2 ladies in it (unless you purchase a single occupancy ticket). You are welcome to request a roommate for the weekend when you register. Is there a minimum age requirement to attend the event? Minimum age is 17. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Transportation is on your own. You will be able to drive to The Tallac Center to drop off your things, but the parking area is located at the entrance to the facility. A few ADA spots are designated by our lodging facility and will be available first come, first serve. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please email [email protected] if you have questions. What's the cancelation policy? Full refunds available until June 1, 2023 minus a $100 nonrefundable deposit. June 1-15, cancellations will be handled on a case by case basis. After June 15, no refunds will be issued. **Only exception is if you are unable to attend the retreat at the last minute due to illness. If you have the slightest hint of not feeling well, even up to the day of the retreat, we ask that you please stay home. For this reason only, we will issue a 100% deposit.* Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. You do not need to print a ticket. Can I update my registration information? Yes. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes. Simply email [email protected] to make changes. Can I explore the area before I check in and/or after I check out? Yes! Although we can't check in to our rooms/meeting space until 4pm Friday and we must be checked out of our space/rooms by Sunday at 11am, we are welcome to arrive early Friday and stay later on Sunday and enjoy the lake and property. Also built into the weekend is a nice chunk of free time Saturday afternoon.
